Biodynamics Engineering, Inc. (BEI) is dedicated to the study and prevention of injuries through the use of biomechanics--the application of engineering principles to the human structure.

Founded in 1979 by Dr. Carley Ward, BEI began by providing research services to the U.S. and Canadian governments in the area of transportation safety.  Over the years, the scope of the services provided by our company has expanded.

Today our clients include attorneys, physicians, insurance companies, government agencies, and private individuals.  We assess a variety of events and activities which can cause injury, such as motor vehicle accidents; amusement park rides; various athletic pursuits; shootings; child abuse; and job related accidents.
